National Electric Safety Code Training

 

NESC Safety Training covers the key aspects of Substations, Overhead Installations, Underground Installations, with a special emphasis on Chapter 4 and Safe Work Practices.

The course reviews arc flash assessments, training requirements, clothing requirements, operating procedures, approach distances, and working on energized lines and equipment.

This course is typically for substation and line personnel to meet the 29 CFR 1910.269 OSHA standard. Lastly, proposed changes to the NESC-2012 standard is presented.
